A well-established and expanding GP practice in Coalville is looking to welcome a dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to their supportive and forward-thinking team. This exciting opportunity arises due to a planned retirement and offers the chance to work in a modern clinical environment with a strong patient-first ethos.

About the Role

As an ANP, you will:

  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of minor illnesses and long-term conditions.
  • Prescribe safely and appropriately (V300 required).
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Support service development and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards.

Key Requirements

  • NMC-registered Nurse Practitioner with MSc (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300)
  • Demonstrated experience in general practice/primary care
  • Skilled in clinical examination, chronic disease management, and patient triage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Desirable:

  • Experience with clinical systems (e.g., SystmOne)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
