A well-established and expanding GP practice in Coalville is looking to welcome a dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to their supportive and forward-thinking team. This exciting opportunity arises due to a planned retirement and offers the chance to work in a modern clinical environment with a strong patient-first ethos.
About the Role
As an ANP, you will:
- Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of minor illnesses and long-term conditions.
- Prescribe safely and appropriately (V300 required).
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support service development and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Requirements
- NMC-registered Nurse Practitioner with MSc (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300)
- Demonstrated experience in general practice/primary care
- Skilled in clinical examination, chronic disease management, and patient triage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Desirable:
- Experience with clinical systems (e.g., SystmOne)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
