Practice Nurse - GP Surgery (Part-Time)

Location: Bognor Regis, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (pro rata)

A friendly and forward-thinking GP practice serving approximately 13,000 patients is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Practice Nurse to join their supportive nursing team.

🔎 Role Overview

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy primary care setting, working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver chronic disease management and routine treatment room nursing care
• Provide immunisations (childhood, travel and routine) and women's health services including cervical cytology
• Undertake clinical procedures including wound care, spirometry, ECGs, venepuncture and catheterisation
• Support infection prevention and control, health promotion and safeguarding
• Conduct medication reviews within PGDs and maintain accurate clinical records
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to support patient care

✅ Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
• Primary care experience
• Competency in immunisations, smear taking, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and venepuncture
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Evidence of CPD and ability to meet revalidation requirements
• DBS clearance & Occupational Health clearance
