Employer: Healthii People (on behalf of a well-established GP practice in Folkestone)
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Part-time (approximately 3.5 days per week)

About the Role
Healthii People are recruiting an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with independent prescribing rights to join a supportive clinical team in Folkestone. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused environment within a well-respected GP practice that has been serving its community for over 30 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and discharge, working autonomously within your scope of practice.
- Prescribe safely and appropriately as an independent prescriber.
- Undertake diagnostic tests, interpret results, and liaise with clinicians where necessary.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using the practice's SystmOne system.
- Promote health education and self-care in partnership with patients and families.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Uphold quality and safety through participation in audits and peer reviews.
Working Hours
- Typically: 09:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00
- Paid tea breaks included within sessions (lunch break unpaid)
- Approximately 3.5 days per week
Essential Requirements
- NMC Registration
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
- Independent Prescribing qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an ANP
- Minimum 2 years' experience prescribing independently
- Current UK professional registration
- DBS check (as per Rehabilitation of Offenders Act)
Desirable:
- MSc in Advanced Practice
