Paramedic - Primary Care Network (PCN) Role

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time and part-time available
Salary: £49,000 per annum

Healthii People are proud to partner with a leading Primary Care Network in Bury, Greater Manchester, to recruit HCPC-registered Paramedics to work across a group of local GP surgeries.

This is an excellent opportunity to take your career beyond emergency response and become part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within general practice.

About the Role

As a PCN Paramedic, you will:

  • Work across several GP surgeries, providing clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.
  • Conduct home visits and same-day appointments for patients requiring urgent or routine care.
  • Support GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team in managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Play a key role in improving patient access, reducing hospital admissions, and supporting continuity of care.
  • Develop specialist interests within areas such as chronic disease management, women's health, or frailty.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:30pm (occasional meetings may fall outside these hours).

About You

We're looking for Paramedics who are:

  • HCPC-registered, with a BSc in Paramedic Practice/Science (or working towards completion).
  • Confident in autonomous decision-making and holistic patient assessment.
  • Excellent communicators who thrive within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care in the community.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance).

Desirable:

  • Mentorship or supervisory qualification
  • Experience working in a primary care or urgent care setting
