Employer: Healthii People (on behalf of a forward-thinking GP surgery)
Contract Type: [Full-time / Part-time]
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
Healthii People are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Practice-Based Paramedic to join a dynamic and supportive GP surgery team in Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paramedic looking to develop their career in primary care, working in a collaborative environment where your expertise will make a real difference to patient care.
You'll work with a high level of autonomy, managing a wide range of patients - particularly those requiring urgent, same-day appointments - with the support of an experienced clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with minor illnesses and urgent needs, both face-to-face and via telephone consultations.
- Undertake home visits for housebound or vulnerable patients, delivering essential care directly in the community.
- Support patients with long-term conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, hypertension), helping them remain well and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
- Work closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians, contributing to a truly multidisciplinary team approach.
- Take part in service improvement initiatives, where your ideas and input will be welcomed and valued.
What We're Looking For
- HCPC-registered Paramedic with proven GP surgery experience (essential).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive, compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work autonomously while recognising when to seek support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What's on Offer
- Work within a friendly, supportive, and progressive practice team.
- Professional development opportunities in primary care.
- A chance to play a key role in improving community health outcomes.
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum (DOE).
