Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time or Part-Time

Healthii People are recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a new Acute Care Team within a large GP practice in Sherborne.

This role offers Full-Time or Part-Time hours with flexible working and job share options. We welcome applications from experienced ANPs and recently qualified practitioners with a background in minor illnesses and acute care.

You will manage acutely presenting patients both in the surgery and occasionally in patients' homes, working autonomously within your scope of practice with full GP support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute presentations via face-to-face, telephone, or online consultations.
• Prescribe safely within your competence.
• Support the nursing team with complex cases.
• Manage urgent/emergency situations where needed.
• Contribute to audits, QOF indicators, and quality improvement.

About You

• Registered Nurse with MSc/Level 7 in Advanced Practice (NMC requirement).
• Independent Prescriber.
