Clinical Pharmacist - GP Surgery (Part Time, 20 hours)

Healthii People are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a forward-thinking GP surgery in Cinderford, Gloucestershire on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in improving patient care, optimising medicines use, and supporting safe and effective prescribing within general practice.

The Role

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will:

• Carry out medication reviews for patients with long-term conditions.
• Support safe and effective prescribing in line with NICE guidance and local protocols.
• Reconcile medicines following hospital discharge, helping reduce readmissions.
• Implement MHRA alerts, product withdrawals, and manage medication shortages.
• Contribute to QOF targets, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical input for repeat prescriptions and same-day medication queries.
• Participate in team meetings and support service development.

Opportunities may also be available to work extended/improved access hours if desired.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with experience in primary care or clinical pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based prescribing and medicines optimisation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
