Clinical Pharmacist - Primary Care

Location: Taunton, Somerset
Salary: Up to £58,500 per annum (pro rata, DOE)
Hours: Full-time or part-time | Hybrid working - up to 2 days remote per week

About the Role

Healthii People are recruiting an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a high-performing GP practice in Taunton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing to medicines optimisation, chronic disease management (particularly respiratory care), and improving patient outcomes in primary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical medication reviews and run long-term condition clinics as an independent prescriber (or working towards qualification).
• Provide patient-facing and telephone clinics for medication queries.
• Support repeat prescribing, acute prescriptions, and medicines reconciliation.
• Assist with QOF, enhanced services, and prescribing optimisation.

Requirements

✅ MPharm (or equivalent) & 3+ years post-qualification
✅ Independent prescriber (or commitment to obtaining)
✅ Strong knowledge of primary care prescribing & evidence-based medicine
✅ Excellent communication and IT skills
