Practice Nurse GP Surgery
Part-time (flexible on working days)
Location: Chepstow, South East Wales
Salary: Up to £25.50 per hour / Up to £50,000 per annum

Overview
An opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team on a permanent basis. The role includes clinical duties and some leadership responsibilities, supporting a small nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long-term conditions (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, IHD, Hypertension)
- Run health promotion and chronic disease clinics
- Deliver vaccinations (routine, seasonal, childhood)
- Provide general practice nursing care (wound care, cytology, ECGs, contraception, minor illness)
- Support travel clinics and respond to medical emergencies
- Assist in supervising and developing nurses and healthcare assistants
- Maintain clinical standards, governance, and safety protocols
Requirements
Essential
- Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in primary care
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
- Experience with clinical systems (e.g., EMIS)
Desirable
- Experience in general practice nursing or team leadership
- Minor illness qualification
