Practice Nurse - GP Surgery

Location: Warminster, Wiltshire
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum / up to £23 per hour

Overview
An opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a supportive GP surgery, delivering evidence-based nursing care to a registered patient population in line with NMC standards and practice protocols.

Key Duties

• Routine practice nurse clinics including wound care, health promotion, and long-term condition support
• Cervical screening, contraception reviews, and sexual health advice
• Adult and childhood immunisations and other injections (PGD/PSD)
• QOF-related activity and opportunistic screening
• Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to infection control and safeguarding

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable

• Experience in General Practice
• Competence in immunisations, cervical screening, and contraception
• Experience using SystmOne
