Practice Nurse

Location: Wansford, Peterborough
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: 3-4 days per week

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly and well-established GP practice in Wansford, Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and potentially progress into a Nurse Lead role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across two sites.
• Deliver a full range of practice nursing services, including:
• Cervical smears
• Baby and travel immunisations
• ECGs and dressings
• Women's health procedures
• Support chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD).
• Assist with minor surgery when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with clinical policies.
• Promote health education and disease prevention within the practice population.

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience in primary care or practice nursing preferred.
• Confident in performing core nursing duties and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
