Practice Nurse

Location: Welling, Kent

Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (can work Full-Time over 4 days)
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum

Job Summary

A GP training practice in Welling is seeking a Practice Nurse to join their friendly team. The role involves:

• Performing general nursing duties
• Running chronic disease management clinics
• Conducting care planning for patients

Training Advantage: Experience in CVD, Respiratory, and Anti-coagulation care is preferred but training can be provided.

Main Duties

• General nursing duties including:
• Chronic disease management clinics
• Wound care
• Vaccinations and immunisations (including travel vaccines)
• Women's and men's health care (smears, contraception)
• Annual blood tests/checks, urine checks

• Serves approximately 11,900 patients in Welling, Kent
• Focused on proactive patient care and chronic disease management

Job Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering curative and preventative care
• Provide nursing care and support to patients, families, and carers

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration
• Preferably Practice Nurse experience

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in CVD, Anti-coagulation, Respiratory care
• Local knowledge of Bexley or South East London pathways and services
