Practice Manager - GP Surgery

Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

An experienced Practice Manager is required to lead the operational management of a GP surgery within a primary care federation. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the surgery and lead the practice team.
  • Ensure compliance with NHS contractual requirements and healthcare regulations.
  • Support financial management, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead HR functions, including recruitment, staff development, and performance management.
  • Improve workflows and service delivery through effective use of clinical and administrative systems.
  • Oversee IT, information governance, and data protection compliance.
  • Manage premises, equipment procurement, and service contracts.

About the Organisation

The surgery is supported by a multidisciplinary team including GPs, pharmacists, paramedics, advanced nurse practitioners, nurses, and healthcare assistants, alongside central support for HR, finance, governance, and operations.

Requirements

  • Must have GP surgery experience
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and budgets
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with staff management, workforce planning, and service improvement

Other: DBS check required and full UK driving licence.
