Practice Nurse (16-24 hours/week)

An established, friendly general practice with around 8,500 patients is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their nursing team. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care focused on health promotion, long-term condition management (including diabetes and respiratory conditions), immunisations, wound care, women's health (family planning and cervical screening), and supporting minor surgery.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement care plans for patients with long-term conditions
• Provide childhood and adult immunisations, including travel vaccines
• Deliver health promotion and screening activities
• Support women's health services and manage uncomplicated wounds
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to professional standards
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and staff training

Candidate requirements:

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in general practice or primary care
• Competent in childhood immunisations, wound care, women's health, and general nursing skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Eligible to work in the UK

Experience with long-term condition management (e.g., diabetes, respiratory) is desirable.
