Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Hours: Part-time or Full-time considered
Salary: £42,000 to £50,000 per annum

Summary

We're seeking an experienced Lead Practice Nurse to join a large, progressive GP surgery in Newport serving around 25,000 patients. Lead a nursing team delivering high-quality nurse-led services including chronic disease management, infection control, and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the nursing team
• Manage nurse-led clinics and ensure clinical governance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based care

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with 3+ years post-registration experience
• Proven leadership skills and expertise in chronic disease management
• Competent with clinical IT systems (e.g., SystmOne)
