Location: Deptford, South London
Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Healthii People is proud to partner with a leading GP practice in Deptford, South London, to recruit an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, patient-focused team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to the local community. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the multidisciplinary team and helping to shape the future of primary care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and COPD through routine reviews and proactive care.
  • Deliver cervical screening, contraceptive advice, and sexual health services.
  • Administer childhood and travel vaccinations, as well as seasonal flu and adult immunisations.
  • Provide wound care, treatment room services, and request relevant pathology tests.
  • Promote preventive health education, self-management, and lifestyle awareness.
  • Contribute to the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and local incentive schemes.
  • Collaborate effectively with GPs, HCAs, Nursing Associates, and Pharmacists to deliver coordinated care.
  • Uphold high standards of infection control, clinical documentation, and patient safety.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Are a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Have recent experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting.
  • Are confident in chronic disease management, immunisations, cytology, and wound care.
  • Have excellent communication skills and thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Take a proactive, patient-centred approach to your work.
  • Have experience using EMIS (desirable, not essential).
